All you need to know about Wes McFee
Life – Well, where should I start?
It would seem that life has a funny way of waking you up and grabbing your complete attention. It certainly has mine. I survived a double bypass surgery in 2000, and then decided it was time to make some serious and radical changes in my life.
For far too long (decades) I was afraid of the stereotypes and social stigmas. So, I lived a double life filled with lies, hiding, and depression. It was time to live MY life honestly and be who I am. So out of the closet and into the open I came!
I made a lot of mistakes along the way, hurt people who didn’t deserve it, and found myself involved with someone who did little to bolster or build anything other than his own ego and ultimately – it ended badly. Now, I have found someone who does in fact “come to restore”, and has opened my eyes and my heart to a world and an array of feeling and emotion I had NEVER dreamed possible.
I thank God for the day that we met EACH and EVERY day of my life. Yes, I know that this may upset or offend some people, but you know; I just don’t have time to worry about it. I believe that God loves each and every on of us as we are. Untimately, that is all that is important anyway.
Once you have knocked on death’s door (literally) you will eventually wake up and realize that “yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a blessing”, and that life is too damned short to be less than honest and open and experience every second of it like the most precious gift you have ever received, because quite simply it IS.
I no longer hide from anything or anyone take me as I am or take a hike, but just remember true friendships never let you down no matter what the circumstance and should never be based upon social status, race, creed, or so called “sexual preference.”
